Terms of Service

1. The service

SheetTimeline is a free web application that lets you view and edit project plans stored in Excel .xlsx files, entirely in your browser. It is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Use of the service constitutes acceptance of these terms.

2. Your files and your data

You retain all rights to the files and data you load into SheetTimeline. Because your plan lives in your browser only, you are solely responsible for:

  • Backing up the original .xlsx files you work from.
  • Exporting your edits (via "End session & export") before clearing your browser data, switching devices, or uninstalling your browser.
  • The accuracy of the data you enter or edit.

We are not responsible for lost work caused by browser data being cleared, storage quotas being hit, hardware failure, or accidental overwrites.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service.
  • Use SheetTimeline in a way that violates any law or infringes anyone's rights.
  • Attempt to abuse the anonymous visitor / session counters (automated hits, spoofing, etc.).

4. Intellectual property

All content, code, documentation, screenshots, and other materials that make up SheetTimeline are the property of K. Qadir and are protected by applicable copyright and other laws. See our Copyright notice for details.

5. Changes to the service and these terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may also update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

6. No warranty; limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SheetTimeline is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. In no event will K. Qadir be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Chicago, IL, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Effective July 13, 2026.
